Job summary
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records and support the company's financial planning and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial records, transactions and general ledger accounts.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Process payroll and perform bank reconciliations.
Prepare tax filings and statutory financial returns.
Monitor inventory costs, asset depreciation and warranty provisions.
Develop budgets, financial forecasts and variance analyses.
Support internal and external financial audits.
Maintain financial records relating to equipment, facilities and operational assets.
Qualifications
- ✓Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- ✓Relevant accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
- ✓Knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- ✓Strong analytical skills, accuracy and financial reporting ability.
- ✓ICAN or ACCA qualification is an advantage.
